RTP #

On PurpurMC, RTP (Random Teleport) allows players to travel to random wilderness coordinates to gather raw resources or locate unclaimed plots to settle.

1. RTP Dimensions & Costs #

You can use RTP across 3 different dimensions:

• Overworld: Every new player starts with 5 free RTP uses. Once exhausted, subsequent RTPs require a nominal PP fee.
• Nether: No free uses are provided (0 free). To RTP in the Nether, you must hold at least the Dolphin rank or have a VIP membership. Players who do not meet these criteria can still enter the Nether through traditional obsidian portals.
• End Dimension: No free uses (0 free). The End cannot be accessed via the standard RTP menu. The only way to enter the End is by eating a Magic Chorus fruit, which triggers a one-time, 2-hour timed RTP expedition into the End.

2. First-Time Join & Spawn Portals #

• Starting Bell: When joining the server for the first time, Right-clicking the bell at spawn rings it and teleports you automatically to a safe, random Overworld location.
• Spawn Portal: Walking into the main portal at spawn opens the interactive RTP GUI, where you can select your target dimension.

3. Chat Notifications & Quick Actions #

Each time you RTP, the coordinates are printed in chat alongside two clickable quick-action buttons:

1. [Save this location]: Adds your landing coordinates to your permanent saved list.
2. [I don't like it here, RTP again]: Immediately triggers another random teleport without opening menus.

4. Recent RTP History & Permanent Bookmarks #

• 72-Hour Temporary History: Every RTP landing spot is preserved in your dimension-specific history for 3 days (72 hours).
• Permanent Bookmarks: Before the 72-hour window expires, you can permanently bookmark favorite locations via chat or /rtp. Bookmarked locations never expire and can be revisited at any time.
• Bookmark Limits: The number of permanent RTP bookmarks you can store increases as you advance through in-game Ranks or acquire VIP Memberships.
