PurpurMC is built to deliver cutting-edge Minecraft content while ensuring universal client accessibility through multi-version backward compatibility and native crossplay (Java & Bedrock).
1. Supported Client Versions & Recommendations #
Our current base server version is 26.3. The server's base version always operates synchronously on the latest release of Minecraft.

Players can join PurpurMC using any client version from 1.16 upwards. Frequently searched community releases such as 26.2 and 1.21.11, as well as the broader 26.x and 1.21.x version families, are fully supported.
However, we always strongly recommend joining on the latest Minecraft version (26.3) because the server's base version is always the latest release of Minecraft. Connecting with older legacy versions prevents you from seeing newer blocks, items, mobs, armor trims, and visual updates.
2. Platform Compatibility Specifications #
- Minecraft Java Edition (PC / Mac / Linux):
- Compatible with standard vanilla clients, Fabric, Forge, Lunar, and Badlion.
- Connect with any version from 1.16 up through 26.3 and newer.
- Full support for the Voice Chat (Simple Voice Chat) proximity plugin on the latest release.
- Minecraft Bedrock Edition (Android / iOS / Windows / Consoles):
- Connect using server IP
oyna.purpurmc.comand default Bedrock port19132. - Mobile, tablet, and console players join seamlessly with PC players in the same persistent world.
