VIP Giveaway #

The VIP Giveaway is an exciting community event that randomly awards a 30-day VIP membership to an active player currently online on the server.

1. Giveaway Mechanics & Flow #

When a VIP Gift item is activated on the server:

1. Giveaway Announcement: A server-wide broadcast with sound effects announces the start of the draw.
2. Screen Animation: A specialized title display activates on every player's screen, rapidly scrolling through candidate names.
3. Winner Selection: As the cycling slows down and stops, the lucky winner's name is highlighted on screen.
4. Instant Delivery: The winner receives their 30-day VIP membership automatically with no manual claiming required.

2. Fairness Filters #

To ensure fairness and reach players who truly benefit from the upgrade, the system automatically excludes:

• ❌ AFK Players: Players who are idle or away from their keyboard are excluded from the drawing pool.
• ❌ Existing VIP Owners: Players who currently hold an active VIP or Sponsor membership are filtered out; only players without an active rank can win.

3. How to Obtain a VIP Gift #

The VIP Gift item used to trigger server-wide giveaways can be obtained through two methods:

• Web Store: Available for purchase directly via the PurpurMC official store.
• Purpur Crate: A rare prize drop from the Purpur Crate at Spawn.

4. Notification Settings (/settings) #

If you prefer to disable the visual cycling animation or audio alerts:

• Open /settings and toggle off VIP Giveaway Notification.
• When turned off, screen banners and sound effects are suppressed; giveaway announcements and winner notifications will still appear normally in chat.
