Chicken Event #

On PurpurMC, the Chicken Event is an action-packed, reward-filled community event that can trigger whenever the Gold Master's Treasure reaches 50 points. Its mechanics are very similar to the Piglin Invasion.

Before the event begins, a server-wide 60-second broadcast countdown alerts all online players to gather at spawn (/spawn).

Stage 1: The Chicken & Chick Swarm #

When the event starts, swarms of chickens and baby chicks spawn all across the spawn area:

• Random Sizes: Chickens and chicks spawn in randomized dimensions, from tiny miniatures to oversized birds.
• One-Hit Elimination: Regardless of their size, all event chickens die in a single hit.
• PP and Loot Drops: Every chicken you defeat immediately rewards PP directly to your balance, with chances to drop valuable items and Crate Keys.

Once all chickens in the area are defeated or the wave timer expires, the event seamlessly progresses to Stage 2.

Stage 2: "Giant Baby Chicken" Boss Battle #

At the center of spawn emerges the colossal Giant Baby Chicken boss.

All players unite to attack this colossal boss together. Striking the Giant Chick triggers special mechanics:

1. Direct PP per Hit: Every strike landed on the boss directly grants PP currency to the attacker.
2. Loot Scattering: Each hit causes the boss to fling random valuable items and minerals across the floor for players to grab.
3. Knockback Waves: The boss periodically repels nearby attackers backward to keep the battlefield dynamic.

Victory & Apex Reward #

When the Giant Baby Chicken is defeated by the server:

• A final shockwave repels surrounding combatants.
• The boss drops 1 Purpur Crate Key directly at its defeat location.
• The event concludes, and the community treasure pool resets to 0.
